Joan, a career computer analyst, reinvented herself as an artist after retirement. She has taken various drawing and painting classes, attended many workshops, and for the past five years has participated in a weekly seminar that continues to provide instruction, advice and inspiration.
Joan’s work has been accepted in a number of National and International
Watercolor Exhibitions and she is currently in the 2019 Colorado Governor’s Show at the Loveland Museum
in Loveland, Colorado. She has also contributed to several fund raisers at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.
She is a signature member of both the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society.
Her work is also on display and can be purchased at Boulder Street Gallery and Poor Richard’s in downtown Colorado Springs.
